Presenter: Associate Professor Raglan Maddox

Webinar topic: Commercial tobacco control research involving Indigenous peoples has the potential to cause harm if it is exploitative, lacks Indigenous engagement or does not recognise Indigenous worldviews and aspirations. Publishers, including scientific journals, provide a means through which commercial tobacco and nicotine research is disseminated. This webinar explores the idea of a publication protocol guide to explicitly uphold ethical research and evaluation practices.

Audience: We welcome registration from people in the public health, community health and smokefree sectors, and others interested in public health policy.

Registration: To join the webinar, please register in advance and a personal log-in link will be sent to you.
