In this interview on Radio New Zealand’s morning report, ASPIRE2025 researchers Dan Tautolo, Richard Edwards and Stephanie Erick say cheap, duty-free tobacco and cultural pressures to give gifts of cigarettes are undermining attempts to cut high smoking rates in Pasifika communities. They base this on their recent study which examined Pacific smokers and non-smokers usage and purchase of duty-free tobacco.
